Skinfit was established in 1997 by Werner Battisti in his flat in Dornbirn.
In the beginning, the Skinfit collection included just three Klima functional underwear items. Over time, the collection expanded with the development of the Skinfit Aero series. Today, Skinfit includes nearly 200 articles of clothing and functional products; it is a complete system of apparel from underwear to outerwear.
Beginning in 1999, the first employees were hired and sales and distribution were expanded to include several partners. At the turn of the millennium, headquarters are moved from Werner’s garage to Mäder and the first Skinfit shop is opened. Four years later, Skinfit moves its headquarters to the current location of Hohenems. In 2004, the one-man business becomes Skinfit Funktionelle Bekleidung GmbH.
The unique collection developed during that time, as well as Skinfit’s special sales and marketing concept, are still valid today.
The company employs over 30 employees and runs seven shops and four showrooms throughout Austria.
Skinfit is also represented in the following international markets: Germany, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Belgium, England, Spain, the USA and Australia. Today, the company employs over 30 employees and runs seven shops and four showrooms in Austria.
